Mitchell, Acres feted as newest Ag Hall of Famers
METCALFE - Ottawa’s Osgoode ward celebrated two of its newly minted "Hall of Famers" last month.
Inducted into the Milton-based Ontario Agricultural Hall of Fame six weeks earlier, Vera Mitchell and Dwayne Acres were celebrated by 170 people gathered at the Metcalfe fairgrounds July 25.
