GUELPH - Two SD&G club members are the winners of the "Design 4-H Ontario’s Holiday Greetings" Contest.
Sydney DeVries, 12, of Finch, who most recently participated in the Avonmore Achievers 4-H Calf Club is the winner of the contest’s junior division (right). Robyn Rutherford, 18, of Chesterville, is the senior division winner. She most recently participated in the Dundas 4-H Local Lunchers and was actually Vice President of the club.
Last month, a panel of three judges chose the winning entries based on the criteria of creativity and he ability to encompass both the spirit of 4-H and the holiday season in their design. After careful deliberation the winners in the two categories were chosen.
The winning designs will be featured on 4-H Ontario’s 2009 Holiday Greeting
