  • KEMPTVILLE – The Ecological Farmers Association of Ontario has invited Glen Rabenberg to be the keynote speaker at the EFAO’s Annual General Meeting at the Branch Restaurant, Clothier St., Kemptville, at 10 a.m. Sat., Nov. 14.

Rabenberg is the President of Soil Works LLC., PhosRite and Genesis Soil Rite Calcium. He graduated in 1985 from South Dakota State University, earning Bachelor of Science degrees in Animal Science, General Agriculture and Agriculture Economics. After graduating from college, Rabenberg worked for six years at Walco International as an Animal Science Technical Adviser working with animal pharmaceuticals, veterinarians and farmers. His work led him to understand that many of the diseases he saw were the result of nutrient poor grain and forage that the animals were consuming. The conventional system of reacting to the symptoms instead of correcting the cause led hime to extensive research of soil, and the production of Genesis Soil Rite Calcium.

His topic will be "Calcium: The Rest of the Story, The Benefits of Higher Plant Sugar Levels and Improved Soil".

Rabenberg maintains that soil, plants, animals and humans share many of the same nutritional ratios. Rabenberg’s research confirmed that as the sugar content increased so did the nutritional level of the plant. Rabenberg confirmed that two per cent or more calcium intake increases the plants shelf life 2 fold.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about how to increase the nutritional value of produce and livestock feed.
