Farmers continue to request information about the Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) program. As a result, more workshops have been scheduled. Farmers who complete an EFP and have their plan approved become eligible for a $1,500 rebate towards actions which reduce risk or improve their farm environment.

Upcoming workshops include:

Perth on Monday May 31 & June 7 from 7 to 10 pm; Winchester on Thursday June 10 & 24 form 7 to 10 pm; Richmond on Tuesday June 15 & 22 from 7 to 10 pm

The EFP program remains available until March 31, 2000, with funding from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada through the Canada Adaptation Council.
