12th Annual Southwest Agricultural Conference

Looking for answers to the tough questions facing field crop producers ? Come out to the 12th Annual Southwest Agricultural Conference at Ridgetown College on January 5th and 6th, 2005 and take in a program that is brimming with answers.

The 2004 production season brought more than its share of production challenges: wet soils, fusarium and late maturity just to name a few. Then there’s always weed control, soil fertility and those pesky pests to deal with. It’s hard to stay on top of all the new information. That’s why you need to attend the Southwest Agricultural Conference, a premier technology transfer event for cash croppers.

The two day program is packed with choices - over 40 key topics, all designed to help cash croppers tackle the problems and embrace the innovation. Sessions run concurrently so you can customize your own educational program. Look for the conference brochure with the complete line-up of speakers in mid November.

In the meantime, mark January 5th and 6th on your 2005 calendar. Pre-register by December 14, 2004 and get the discounted early bird fee of $ 50 / person per day or $ 85 for the 2 day package. You will also be eligible for the draw on door prizes. For more information and to pre-register, call the Ag Business Centre at Ridgetown College at 519-674-1596 or toll free at 1-866-222-9682.
