Internet proposals outlined to Frontenac Federation

The Frontenac Federation held their November meeting with a guest speaker Jim McPherson , who represented the Land o’ Lakes communication group. Jim outlined the work his group is doing to develop Internet programs that agri-business people can access. We look forward to Jim returning in the New Year with more updated information on the progress they are making.

The county federation’s election of officers was held at the November meeting with . John Williamson acclaimed as president for a second term and Albert Moreland as first vice-president.

Kevin Bovey was welcomed as a new director.

Our new provincial rirector, Ron Sleeth who attended the OFA Convention, gave reports and the directors’ meeting that followed.

Appreciation for his many years of service as our provincial director were extended to Keith Walton, who has retired from this role, but will remain as a county director.

The FFA co-sponsored a float in the Kingston and Sydenham Santa Claus parades by supplying dairy products for the children.
