Effective January 2, 2001 the Farm Business Registration Program will be delivered by OMAFRA"s agent AGRICORP. AGRICORP will be sending out the application forms to the current 57,000 FBR participants.

Starting this year registrants will have three options for registering and making the $150 payment to the selected General Farm Organization they wish to support.

1. Register on line at www.agricorp.com using VISA or MasterCard

2. Phone 1-866-327-3678 and pay with VISA or MasterCard

3. Mail in the completed form with payment to AGRICORP

No changes have been made to the legislation. All farm businesses with a Gross Farm Income of $7000 as reported for tax purposes are required to register. A valid FBR number will continue to be an eligibility requirement for both the Farmland Property Class Program and the Ontario Whole Farm Relief Program.

Applications will be mailed out to previous applicants over a three month period with a deadline dates of Jan. 31; Feb. 15, or March 1.
