Grenville Federation annual Feb. 22 in Roebuck

The big news this month is the Grenville Federation of Agriculture’s Annual Dinner and Banquet to be held Fri., Feb. 22 at the Roebuck Hall.

Social Hour is at 6:30, a turkey and ham dinner is at 7 p.m., entertainment is Mark Walker, Yuk Yuk’s comedian, and Shabeer Ahmed, Director, from the David Florida Aboratory for the Canadian Space Agency, will also speak.

There will be an election for new directors. Tickets are $15 per person and can be obtained from any of your local Directors or by calling Laurie at 613-989-5656. Get your tickets early; last year tickets were sold out. Always a good meal and a great get together with all the farming community, and see who wins the Grenville Federation of Agriculture’s Award of Merit for 2001.

Also please mark your calendar for our upcoming Risk Management Emergency First Aid on the Farm, tol be held at Spencerville Town Hall March 7. It will run from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Registration is $5 per person.
