The Mountain Township Agricultural Society is hosting a two day competition called Teen Farmer 2000 on Sat., Aug.19 and Sun., Aug. 20, at the South Mountain Fair. The competition will be judged on three equally rated categories. Section A is the Oral Presentation. Each contestant will prepare a 10 to 15 minute presentation outlining a farm operation. This will be followed by a ten minute question period. Section B is the Display Area. Competitors from livestock farms will be required to have a least one animal in their display. Section C is Interaction with the Public. Competitors will be judged during the competition on their ability to communicate with visitors to the fair.
