Our June meeting was highlighted by our guest speaker, Al Gardiner from the executive of the OFA.
Mr. Gardiner highlighted the many issues that OFA is currently working on ranging from the Walkerton water issues to OFA’s relationship with OMAFRA and the Provincial Agriculture Minister.
A decision was made to give special funding to several local agricultural groups that provide leadership to various segments of agri-business in Frontenac County.
Members continue to express concern about Bill C-17 and proposed changes to on farm mixing of medicated feeds.
