Frontenac Federation, OPP hold information session on gun registration laws

INVERARY - The Frontenac Federation of Agriculture and the Ontario Provincial Police will be holding an information session on Canada’s new gun registration regulations at Elginburg United Church at 7:30 p.m. Wed., July 19.

John Williamson of Inverary says the purpose of the meeting is to explain gun registration laws and fast-approaching deadlines for complying with the new regulations, to the agricultural community.

It’s a rare farm that doesn’t have a .22 or an old shotgun tucked away somewhere and these long arms, used for pest control, are subject to the new federal regulations.
