INVERARY - The sights and sounds of a bygone era will be the theme of the 19th annual Homesteader Days here August 26 and 27 as the Kingston and Area Antique Association takes over Ken Garrett Memorial Park here for their vintage gas, steam and auto show.
There will be working exhibits of threshing equipment, corn grinding, rope making, log a sawing, wood cutting, stone crushing and antique and classic vehicles as well as a large flea market on the grounds both days.
Homesteader Days will feature daily entertainment, a free corn roast and a beef barbecue Sat., Aug. 26.
Admission is $3 for adults and children under 12 will be admitted free of charge if accompanied by an adult.
The show runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sat., Aug. 26 and form 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sun., Aug.. 27.
Inverary is located north of Kingston . Take the Division St. Highway 401 exit and travel nine miles north.
