Please be very careful of "buyers" who want to use elaborate money order or cheque cashing schemes to pay for the items you have advertised on The AgriNews website classified page. These unscrupulous "buyers" will issue a cheque or money order for more than the amount you agreed upon for the items you have advertised for sale and will ask that you send the difference on to them.

These cheques or money orders invariably bounce, usually long after you have sent the difference, and you will be left holding the bag for the money that has been fraudulently obtained.

This is just one of many scams that prey on classified advertising sites, so remember the old caveat: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
